ANDORRA Great news with snow falling on Thursday at all of our reported Andorran resorts. Soldeu (30/50cm) is reporting the biggest increase in depth with 10cm falling on Wednesday and into Thursday. The other resorts may yet be to report any increase any depth, but the new snow and reduced temperatures mean that the conditions are improving for some great skiing this weekend. Over the weekend you can expect sunnier skies and warmer temperatures.
FRANCE The south of France is finally seeing some new snow. A huge 35cm arrived at both Bareges/La Mongie (50/80cm) and Cauterets (20/60cm) on Thursday morning which has transformed the resorts. The new snow means there is now good skiing across the resorts which previously had very little snow on the lower slopes. The Mont Blanc area, Paradiski, Espace Killy, Three Valleys and Portes du Soleil all also reported new snow falling this week. Most of the new snow fell overnight on Tuesday. Chamonix and Argentiere both report excellent on-piste conditions and soft powder snow off-piste with depths now exceeding 4 metres on the highest areas.
